Fabra i Coats: Center d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona is an institution dedicated to the research, production, exhibition and dissemination of contemporary artistic practices. Focused on the promotion of artistic production developed in our metropolitan context and in our country, and open at the same time to the international scene, the Art Center is a space whose main mission is the promotion of current visual arts, the search for new creative languages, the opening to interdisciplinary territories and the development of mediation policies with the territory and citizens.

The Center d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona is a space for research, innovation and artistic development that aspires to give, through its practice, a possible answer to the question of the cultural and social role that contemporary art centers must have premises in the 21st century. Located in the western area of the Nau L of the Fabra i Coats complex, very close to the gates of the same complex that give access to Carrer Gran de Sant Andreu and Carrer Parellada, the Center, on four floors, has three exhibition rooms of 410 m2 each and an event hall where public activities are carried out, as well as a workshop, a warehouse and offices.

The Center d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona has as neighbors and collaborators other cultural and social facilities in the Fabra i Coats area, such as the Athenaeum L'Harmonia, the Biblioteca Ignasi Iglésias - Can Fabra, the History Museum of Barcelona, Fabra i Coats: Art Factory or the Josep Bota Space, among others.
