Espai Colona

We are an artist collective which functions as space for contemporary art in Barcelona; our cornerstone is the relationship between art and everyday affairs, steeped in human relations. Espai Colona arises from the need to generate content related to visual arts in regards to specific conditions and situations, determined by the everyday, a conceptual and formal fact set up by the sense of being of those who founded and configured it on their day to day. This in turn establishes the inseparability between art and life, creating an uncertain limiting of a home's various chores, suggesting the following question: what is work? And likewise what is it not?
