During the 2023-24 academic year, a group of 3rd year ESO students from Institut La Bastida in Santa Coloma de Gramanet has worked with the artist Domènec. Throughout the creation process, they have discovered the city and its configuration, thinking about urban planning and the architecture of spaces. In the process, they have conceived an artifact which is based on the 3D model of the Institut La Bastida and brings together and proposes a series of actions.
This project has been developed within the framework of the 15th edition of Artistes EN RESiDÈNCiA als instituts, a program of the Barcelona Institute of Culture, the Barcelona Education Consortium and the Besòs Consortium, designed in cooperation with the Associació A Bao A Qu. Domènec’s residency at the Institut La Bastida has been curated and coordinated by A Bao A Qu.
