The project that is being carried out during the 2023/2024 edition of the Bòlit Mentor, “Atlas, Mapa de Mapes”, takes as its guiding thread an ambiguous path, neither entirely domestic nor entirely school: the journey that separates the house of the school.
In addition to graphic maps, the proposal will open up the spectrum to sound maps, cartographic writings, and the examination with one’s own body and the witness that the inhabitants of the territory have. This will accommodate music, dance, movement, writing, speech and voice. Each artist will develop the map in the format that best suits their creative research: graphic and color maps, sound maps, body movement maps, etc.
This exhibition will bring together the results of the projects that Nirvana Jiménez, Paula Grande and Última Vèrtebra are carrying out at the Carles Rahola (Girona), Santiago Sobrequés (Girona) and Josep Brugulat (Banyoles) high schools.
