L’Estruch, a
factory for the creation of live arts, is a municipal facility in Sabadell that has different
spaces for multidisciplinary residences. It offers to create in a workspace with artistic
community, well connected to shops, hotels and other services nearby, 2 minutes from
the train station (FGC) and 20 km from Barcelona.
L’Estruch’s mission is to facilitate creation, help professionalization and promote the
network to achieve sustainability at the creative level of the projects it hosts in
residence, as well as the training of cultural professionals, especially companies and
artists of live arts. Accompany artists and companies in their creative processes; giving
time and space to make this possible, and thus claiming the signification of these
processes and their creators.
Since 2010, NauEstruch is the specialized program to support emerging performance
arts. As such, it constitutes a unique space in the context of visual arts in our country
and offers material and theoretical resources for research and development of projects
linked to performance practices.
These rules define the call for visual arts and performance arts and media residencies
for the period from January 7 to June 27, 2025.
This call is oriented to emerging artists or collectives, local, national and international.
