“Of all the poets I read, Gertrude Stein is the one who best showed me the way to break the false division between writing and orality and the desire to sound a rhythm that can infiltrate any seemingly neutral verbal order, such as that of patriarchy, in order to dissolve it. In this piece I share some of my texts more oriented towards / or influenced by Stein: several poems from Salitre and Hacía un ruido, a text from Die 1, die eine 3 wurde (2018), and the performance Deja a ella probar. Un fragmento de Patriarchal poetry de Gertrude Stein (2015)”.
A plaquette that brings together some of these texts along with others that do not appear in the reading recently published by the publishing house Disbauxa will be presented in Santa Mònica on the same day.
