Gat has worked since 1978 as a musician in his own groups or for other musicians such as La Taronjada Reunió Lacustre, Truita Perfecta, Basura, Ultratruita, New Buildings, Buildings, Error Genético, MCW, La Fura dels Baus, Pau Riba, Pascal Comelade Bel Canto Orquestra, Raeo, Alma Tadema, Il Gran Teatro Amaro or Morningblind. With hundreds of concerts in Europe and more than 150 albums published to date.
Creator and composer of almost a hundred soundtracks for TV and film documentaries. Self-taught, he has also worked since 1978 as a sound technician in concerts of all kinds of music and in theatre, dance and TV.
Founder of the independent Catalan labels Dduplicadora and G33G Records (Altaveu Award 2006, with more than a hundred releases since 1989 and still active).
