Once the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023 is over, we invite you to meet us on 14 December at the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion with the proposals and the studios that have represented the Catalan perspective of architecture this year.
We will recreate the whole with part of the intervention that Leve Projects and Top Manta projected for the space Catalonia in Venice, “Following the Fish”, a sample of “Emotional Heritage”, an installation by Flores&Prats(architects invited by the curator of the Biennale (Lesley Lokko), videos of the proposal of the Spanish Pavilion Foodscapes and the audiovisual piece CHOP, CHOP, CHOP by MAIO with the Catalan filmmaker Agnès Essonti Luque and Pol Esteve Castelló with the piece Ruta Fría, in collaboration with the Catalan filmmaker Gerard Ortín Castellví as well as a small tasting of the exhibition The laboratory of education – EUmiesAwards Young Talent 2023 that we are presenting at the Palazzo Mora in Venice as a collateral event of the Biennale.
In this environment we will meet at 12:00 h at a round table with Eva Serrats, Francesc Pla and Daniel Cid, Urtzi Grau, Alday-Jover and Guallart+Ibáñez representing the Catalan participants, which will be presented by Anna Ramos, director of the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, and Pere Almeda, director of the Institut Ramon Llull.
