As part of the celebration of the festes of Santa Eulàlia, the patron saint of the city of Barcelona, the MACBA is opening its doors free of charge on Sunday, February 11, 2024, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

We welcome you to celebrate Barcelona’s greatest winter festival by visiting the museum’s current exhibits free of charge. If you come to the MACBA, you can visit two recently opened multi-artist exhibitions: Songs for Many Movements: Scenes of Collective Creation and [contra]panorama.

You will also have the opportunity to discover new artists in the collective exhibition entitled MACBA Collection: Prelude. Poetic intention and in the project 108 Days by Lydia Ourahmane, which has invited individuals or groups every day to engage with the tower space.

You can also experience the work of the Barcelona-native artist Daniel Steegmann Mangrané with all your senses in A Leaf Shapes the Eye. The museum will offer a guided visit of this exhibit at 12:00 pm. Capacity is limited and we recommend booking a spot online.

The reading and family space, located on the ground floor of the museum’s Study and Documentation Centre, will also remain open from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm so that you can read and leaf through publications on art, enjoy playtime with your kids, or simply unwind.

To avoid waiting in line on the day of your visit, we recommend booking a free ticketahead of time for the time frame you want to visit.
