La otra lección de anatomía [The Other Anatomy Lesson]:

Once she dreamt of her death and it changed her life. Years later, I dreamt that she died. We were sitting in the garden at home, that huge garden. It was sunny, the sky was clear and there were masses of intense green and orange from the trees and the building around us. We were sitting on typical aluminium bar chairs and between us a matching table. She looked at me without any concern and told me that she had to tell me two things: the first was that she was going to die and I burst into tears, covering my face, she insisted on telling me the second thing but I didn’t want to listen.
Fini Straubinger laments that after her loss of sight she will never experience black, rather masses of yellow, blue and green, never red. Some things refuse to be told, that is what is visible, and others refuse to be seen, that is what is said. I dream of the boundary between these two worlds.

Xiayu Zhang (b. 1999 Zhenjiang, China, lives and works in Barcelona) Xiayu’s practice claims no signature style, Instead she creates a web of shifting connections between her works. Transforming her inner emotional and psychological world—personal experiences, memories and feelings—into art.

Tatjana Muhlbacher (Antigua and Barbuda, 1997) is an artist that explores how informations are transmitted through generations and time. Utilising sounds and voices for the storytelling of received and created narratives. She delves into them blurring reality.

Len Ault (2000, Paris) is a multidisciplinary artist whose explorations focuses on the self and its various aspects. Their art delves into unraveling narratives, sometimes by blurring the lines of realities, but also by intertwining the past and present. Their work reflects on the complexity the ever—changing essence of the paradigms around us. From aesthetic genesis to on going incarnation of visuals aims.

Robin Vuitch (1997, Dallas, TX, USA)  They have been currently exploring sculptural expressions in textile materials. Their focus on textile and sculpture comes with the analysis of gender constructs that are maintained in the art world, as well as the boarders of private life in the public’s vision.

A project promoted by Homesession and Metàfora Studio Arts
