“Les costes de l’aire” interrelates prose and poetics, prints and outlines, diagrams and terms. Visually, breathing is approached from the representation of the breathing body imagined from physical experience, from the blank space in which the lines retrace where the breathing bodies and the body of the air, and from the integration of concepts and geometric shapes. Textually, it unfolds the thoughts, sensations, feelings and emotions that occur in the subjective experience of breathing between and with other breaths, and then gives voice to the air.
