Exhibition

The second solo show of the artist Carsten Beck ( Denmark, 1986 ), under the title “Lines interaction“, after his show in the Museum of Concrete Art in Ingolstadt in Germany.

A total of 15 works made in the last year will be presented, most of them unseen before and produced for the occasion.

Beck’s non-figurative works are processed through long walks and contemplation. Ideas are born in the act of walking, discovering new routes, angles, and perceptions of the world around him. The artist perpetually seeks to uncover novel aspects within the blending of architectural shapes: A symphony composed of rectangles, triangles, circles, and the juxtapositions that converge in a harmonious alignment of proportions and obsessive attention to detail. Segments of vibrant geometric hues and monumental black-and-white compositions define the signature style of this self-taught artist, drawing inspiration from concrete art—a genre characterized by its simplistic, non-figurative language and clean lines. Perfection isn´t always the dominant force; rather, it´s the meticulous planning and execution that prevails. A creation imbued with deliberate intentions carries a transformative power that potentially transcends surface appearances. There is something in the expression of Carsten Beck’s works that transcends time. Infinitely timeless, the dimensional aspects of his works will remain satisfying to the human eye for years to come.
