O qué hacer de aquí para atrás IN SITU is a performative exercise where we transform the things that affect us into images and actions. The performers go running through the street and return to the exhibition space, generating situations that are camouflaged with the place and the audience present. This scenic device focuses attention on the peripheries of the event and on the presence of the absences left by the bodies. It is an exercise in displacing the conventions that make us assume what we should look at.
This practice arises from the piece O que fazer daqui para trás by João Fiadeiro co-directed by Carolina Campos and which was proposed in the workshop carried out in collaboration with La Capella and Escuela Massana for the Escola d’Estiu in July 2023.
