We are excited to announce the upcoming edition of the Reading Room, which will take place from the 13th of September to the 13th of October.
During this time, the gallery will once more be converted into a reading space – a place to sit, meet, be and read. We will be open to the public Wednesday to Friday from 12 – 16h, and for our weekly Friday evening events from 19h. This year we will feature readings and text or book-based activities by Agnes Essonti Luque, Agustina Fiorretti, Radial Radiant, Mark Shorter and Ana Vala.
Lucia Retamar, the Cotangent Residency Artist for winter 2022/23, has integrated her picnic blanket project into various aspects of the Reading Room project. This year, she invites us to join her in sewing the blanket, following its previous appearances in “Why All This Music? Sharing Space” in Santa Monica Arts last year and “Fluchtpunkt/Vanishing Point 2” in Tangent Projects gallery earlier this year.
