When citizens live in and occupy urban space, invisible networks connect and sustain them: networks of mutual support, of shared knowledge, and of social encounter. What support networks are there in Vic? What made them necessary? Where are they located? What structures sustain them?

In this activity, we will highlight these networks using collective mapping.

Collective mapping is a reflective practice, in which the map is the tool to collectively build up local perspectives, which promote and facilitate collaborative and transformative practices. In other words, the approach is the pretext, not the end. There will be contributions from several local organisations from Vic, who will help to constructing the story of caring in the city.

Suports invisibles, is an activity included in ACVIC’s project Sobretaules a la plaça, which aims to open the art centre to the neighbourhood, and to build relationships with its agents and organisations.
