In September 2022 we celebrated the 11th anniversary of Y por qué John Cage? at Antic Teatre. The experience was so magical that we’re coming home once more, still buzzing, to share this much-loved piece with you.
This was our first work together; it led us to discover our own language and way of performing, and also showed us what we could bring to the world of live arts. It’s a very simple piece, where two characters, Guillem and Jorge, hold a conversation discussing what to do, how to manage the creative process. The words they use become sounds and, based on the rhythm and musicality that these inevitably produce, the actors try and establish the rules of a game in which the audience end up totally immersed.
